Inspect Your Property
Winter often takes its toll on your home and lawn. So, before you start on any projects, it’s important to first assess what needs to be done around the house. Start by checking for damage in the foundation or in your driveway. If necessary, pick up concrete filler or silicone caulk from our shop to seal any cracks before those cliché April showers hit. Next, clear away any debris that might have built up in your gutters and prepare them for rain. Finally, make sure the weather hasn’t damaged or stripped your windows and screens. However, if they have, bring them into Village Ace, and we’ll take care of any necessary repairs.
Revive That Lawn
With the weather getting warmer, so too is the ground outside. And that’s perfect—because now is the time to beat the weeds. Try using a product that both fertilizes your grass while also killing existing weeds like dandelions and preventing crabgrass germination. Now’s also the time to sharpen those lawn mower blades. Need help with either one or both? Not to worry. Just stop by Village Ace, and we’ll help you sort out your needs.
Highlight Your Gardens
Nothing makes your home pop like a beautiful garden. To build one, there are a few “must-haves.” Examples include a reliable shovel, rake, and wheelbarrow. - Do you pick up and drop off lawnmowers and snowblowers for repair?
- We can. There is a $89.95 two-way fee for local pick-up and delivery. Visit our services page for information.
- Can I rent tools from Village Ace?
- Yes, we do rent various tools. Please call us with specific requests. (By the way, we do not rent rototillers.)
- Is it possible to special-order an item?
- Yes. If you don’t find an item at Village Ace Hardware, we can order more than 60,000 items from Ace Hardware. If Ace Hardware doesn’t have it, we can also order items directly from the manufacturers featured in our stores. On average, special orders are available within three business days.
- What is your return policy?
- You may return your purchase to Village Ace Hardware within 30 days. If you have a receipt, we’ll refund the amount of the item(s) in the same way as your purchase. Cash purchases will receive cash. Credit card purchases will be credited back to your credit card account. If you don’t have a receipt, we’ll give you a store credit for the amount of your item. You must use the credit in the store where the store credit was issued.
- Do merchandise/store credits expire?
- No. Your merchandise credits are always good at the store where they were issued.
